Having wasted time and effort, not to mention cost, seeking but failing to achieve the release of funds from US authorities via agencies specialising in recovery of UK assets including Legal Claimant Services and Wells Fargo, the Executors of our father’s estate sought the help of Mr Holger Erichsen of Recovery Auditing Services, the only regret being that we didn’t engage his services sooner.
The breakthrough was hardly immediate but, in the context of nearly ten years of frustration at the prevarication deftly exercised by US State offices holding escheated US stockholdings, Mr Erichsen’s success in extracting the funds has been exemplary, in no small part due to his detailed understanding of the practices employed by different States as well as his steady perseverance.
